🎉 Get your colleagues, team, or organization together and enter a float in the City of Morden’s Winter Parade. Think like a kid! What would excite a six-year-old? Music, lights, moving pieces, treats – anything you can think of that fits in our official rules and regulations. Have some fun! Create your float, and light it up! All entries must be decorated.

Official Rules and Regulations for the Winter Parade:
- 📅 Extended Entry Deadline: November 8, 2023
- ⏰ Start time: 6:00 pm sharp
- 🚶♀️ Start lining up at 5 pm
- 💬 Announcer comments must be submitted with the application
- 👥 Parade walkers MUST accompany the float if handing out anything to the parade guests.
- 🍬 Throwing candy is not permitted.
- 🚫 Floats must not pick up anyone while on the parade route.
- 🔒 We have the right to restrict the number of entries at our discretion.
- ⚠️ 48 hours notice must be given for cancellations.
- 👨👩👧👦 We ask that all entries are for family pleasure and enjoyment of the community.
- 🎅 No Santas are permitted except on the City of Morden’s float. This includes anyone dressing or appearing in the likeness of Santa Claus. Non-compliance will result in immediate removal. Santa hats are allowed.
- 🚫 Alcoholic beverages and smoking are forbidden on any entry. Any participant suspected of being under the influence will be removed.
- 🚧 Safety of participants and the general public is the top priority. Safety is the responsibility of each entry, and entries must comply with all safety, government regulations, codes, and manufacturer’s recommendations.
- ⛔ The parade has a ZERO TOLERANCE policy for abuse towards anyone, including staff, volunteers, guests, spectators, and other entries.
- 🚨 Violators should be reported to Parade Officials on route or immediately afterwards.
- 📸 By participating in the Winter Parade, you grant permission to the City of Morden and its authorized representatives to take photographs or videos of you and your float during the event. These photographs or videos may be used for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media, websites, advertisements, and printed materials.
